About Our Farm
Nakoma Farm is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare organization. The name "Nakoma" is of Native American Origin and means "Great Warrior" or "Great Spirit." We at Nakoma Farm believe that there is a Great Spirit guiding us to serve our rescue animals and to help people feel relaxed and inspired through our products. Nakoma Farm is located in the hills of Northwestern Connecticut and is home to over 150 lavender plants as well as 17 rescue animals. All proceeds from the sale of lavender products go to support the animals. They are:
Horses: Butterscotch, Beau, Cooper (in Heaven)
Kitties: Tiger Lily, Tux, Lucky
Bunnies: Hope, Miracle, Angel, Blossom, Magic, Spirit, Sunshine, Flow Grace, Happy, Joy, Sky
